| ATF has detergents in it to help keep crap building up in transmission. I filled my part washer with diesel fuel because I can't buy bulk kerosene anymore like I had been using. Not happy with the diesel fuel, have to wash everything off then wash the diesel off with brake kleen to get rid of the greasy feel from the diesel.
If you can get kerosene I'd use that. Varsol has gotten too expensive. At this point I'm about ready to put a water heater in the shop and just use dish soap and hot water | |
