I was on a jury. I was sickened by thinking of younger city folk on jury. “It’s a large company, they MUST have lots of insurance. So we can give this injured person lots of money. It will barely be noticed by insurance company, and we get to feel good”
He was a multi year truck driver. It was his own truck that the brakes were not properly set *or adjusted* sadly no inspection. The driver screwed up with unsafe actions he did 3x before he got crushed. 11-1 to 4- 8 in half hour. *once I proved the outside dual can not turn if inside dual is locked* couple hours before I got tired. 90% drivers fault 10% conditions at facility. But they were not negligent in not icing enough.
