I have been seriously considering another combine like what I have.
It is simple economics.
most of my current machinery is around 15 years old. I do no really want to go newer because of emissions issues. I am not big enough to afford a million dollar combine either.
I can buy a machines similar to mine for what some of he repair bills are, especially the combine.
I am guessing I will drop 30 grand in mine this year and have seen some that are claimed to have been rebuilt for $60,000.
I can run both until one drops and then have parts.
I have been told $20,000 will buy a functioning machine.
A transmission is over $20,000, finals are $5500.
You see where I am going?
