St. Louis is a known court venue shopping destination for lawsuits even though this was a local case. Those available to sit on a jury have a high probability of being a collective group ready to "stick it to the man" and help you win the lawsuit lottery as they all dream about it themselves. Thankfully, no way that size award will survive on appeal here in Missouri.
