nc IA | I ran the power beyond fittings on my 4840, went up to a ball valve that then fed two needle valve flow controls, then out to the twin vac motors. This was a 2001 1770 16 row. No issues powering vacs Only needed one SCV then for the main lift / fold etc. I had 3 SCVS on the tractor but felt the power beyond had less restriction / heat build up then going through the SCV's first. Been a few years, but as I recall the power beyond was just off of the plug on one side of the #1 SCV and return was to a port a bit lower that I added a T into. Will try to look for pics. I know I still have the needle valve stack and a pigtail for feed line hanging in the shed. made a bracket and had the needle valves just outside the rear window, so I could easily reach out and adjust the flow on the fly to change vacuum as needed, or shut it off with the ball valve. | |
