Latimer, Iowa (north central) | If it’s the cheap version of IA trailer I would look elsewhere. Buy a used main brand trailer like a stud king or unverth if want to save money.
We bought the cheap version of the IA and it has cost me as much as buying a good trailer would have. The bar split in the middle as it is not gusseted. Was in season so had welding shop fix and a couple grand later had the bar fixed. The next year the ball style hitch between the tires where the neck goes on was breaking out. Luckily we saw it. Bounced apart limping it to welding shop again with no head on it and had to fish it out of the ditch and trailer out of service for a few days. You will get what you pay for but consider how much your head is worth when putting it on the cheapest trailer possible. I would never buy another cheap one. |
