There is a JD tool that hooks to the header connector. It was a small electric box. It mimics the dial a matic box on the header, but with a knob you control the up/steady/down. It helped diagnose if it was a header or combine problem.
Fixed many, many wire harness issues in the frame over the feeder house. Darn mice.
