NW IL | Got a call from the neighbor last night that one of our pivots hadn't moved all day. Today I got there and sure enough, the log said it turned on and "moved forward" but based on the position reading it moved less than a degree from the time it turned on to the time it turned off. It wasn't out of alignment and moved fine dry. I moved it maybe 40ft to get it out of the wet spot it made. It kept straight and didn't have any issues. It ran fine last week.
I should have turned the pump on to see what would happen, but before I mess with it more, any suggestions for where to look for issues?
There's probably one issue of it not turning off when it didn't move, but probably a different issue with it stopping in the first place? | |
