South Dakota | I recently purchased a hydraulic hose crimper to build my own hydraulic hoses. I'm wondering if any of you have any experience with what is considered good hose vs bad hose brands. For example my local dealership sells 1/2" hose for around $7/foot when you get a hose made by them. Now that i have my own machine i see i can buy bulk 1/2" hose for around $2/foot. It's rated for the same 4000 PSI and has the same 2 braded wire. This hose is of course coming from online source such as Amazon or Ebay. Any advice would be helpful IF you have experience with this.
