| Running a 7120 combine. Have all rasp bars except 6 straight bars to slow corn flow through down because seem to have more trouble throwing corn out the back than we ever did with mid range machines, although my brothers have straight bars in their mid range as well, side note, I do switch to round bar concave for corn. Question is, looking like we will potentially be threshing some green tough beans this year. Would it ever be worth the time and effort to pull straight bars out of the back and put in rasp or kickers for beans? Just looking for as much capacity as is reasonable in tough beans. I’m afraid I’d need to put straight bars back in for high yielding corn. Thoughts?? Thanks! | |
