Subject: What is it worth? (standing grain elevator)

Nunn CO
Hello all,
I have a neighbor about 10 miles down the road that just bought an old quonset that used to be a bean storage facility. There is an old (2001) Universal DD gain elevator. It is rated at 2,000 BPH but is a nice slow speed system which is good since I'm handling a product that can't have cracks. About 15' below ground and 45' about ground. Bean company was in business for about 3 years before shutting down and this hasn't been run since.

Good news is there is a crane company directly across the street that will rent a big crane service for $365 an hour. Bad news is the back the quonset is pretty much not assessable right now so we will have to lift the pieces up and over the building as they are taken apart. However the crane company didn't seem to think that would matter.

So, yes it old and needs to be taken down but it is something that would help me and is close. Whats it worth?
