usually stalks get raked at an angle, and the baler follows the same direction the rake went so the stalks are leaned away from you as you bale. very little tire and pickup teeth damage this way. Set them on 80" if you want, ive baled with a 7810 on 72" for 14 years and thats as narrow as id like on a baler, 80" would be better
