Awhile back I think it was you who posted an alternative connector to the yellow plug. Can’t find the post anywhere.
Yes, cut it off and put whatever you want back on there, the yellow plugs are absolutely trash. We either convert backwards to the 3 plugs like an earlier header, or go forward to single point.
