Our seed corn is grown in 22” rows, usually a 4-2 pattern if male/female. This year we have some 6-6 pattern, and both sets will be harvested. Some fields are increases, so it’s all the same seed and all harvested. Our 22” planter is a 14 row, so we just remove two row units if we need to plant m-f patterns.
