NE ND | I have two 97s and one 98. Combines themselves are pretty much the same. 98 does burn more fuel, but when say dumping on the go you can tell the ponies are there. Either is fine. My 97 are 3 speed trannys, 98 is a pro drive. I like simple stuff, wish my 98 had a 3 speed. 3 speed is just simple. The 3 speeds never stop moving and tell you on the screen to contact dealer for service!
