I have never had one come loose, but wife's cousin was talking to someone who does a fair amount of truck he says on trucks you need to snug them up a bit with the wrench not just hand tight or some will come loose. That being said hand tight can vary some if awkward place to get at or if you have someone with a pinched nerve etc.
