Subject: RE: Painting grain cart - need tips

Nash County, NC
I am not a classic car painter but I have painted some farm equipment.

For me, finding a paint supplier to offer you advice is priceless. In my area, the Napa folks treated me very badly because I was asking questions. I started going to oreillys and they are glad to help, offer advice, share life experience. They sell the same brand of paint here.

I use Nason single stage fast drying paint. It’s a good cross roads of quality/value/simplicity.

Don’t overthink your choice of paint gun brand You are not experienced enough to know the difference between the harbor freight throw away gun and the $1500 gun. The gun will not be your limiting factor. If you get harbor freight, get the $25 gun, not the cheapest. It does a better job.

Feel free to email me with questions. I am not an expert but I can tell you many things not to do!!
