Hi Larry; we had 2200 with floating hitch 55’ and 200 lb shanks. Also had/have 980 with 200 lb shanks no floating hitch 30’. Both had 5 spike harrows. Both did excellent job of cultivating and leveling job.

In 2011 we bought couple Case 330 TTs. We liked the job they did and sold the 2200, kept the 980 for problem fields.

Hi Dan, I’ll have to see if this one’s in my budget. If not I will probably look for another one. How does your fall crops look? I’ll probably harvest some corn next week if the moisture is low enough. No dryers down here so they want it under 17%. Thanks to everyone for the advice and have a safe harvest!

We had to replant 20-25% of the corn and beans from all the rain from mid April till mid July. Then has dried up, we’ve about 2” of sense then. We’ve got good, fair and poor crops all in the same fields. We shell see when the combines roll. We’re about two weeks before early beans are ready. Replant corn is just starting to dent, usually freeze around Oct 1 here.
