| I did that once on a Ford Bronco II I had years ago. I left the old rubber gasket on the oil filter base when I changed the oil filter. It blow out going down the road and I lost all oil pressure. I shut it off quickly and I had it towed. It didn’t hurt anything and added more oil and a new filter. It was a good lesson for me and I always now check and scrap the filter housing to make sure the old gasket is off. | |
