On slow speed bearings fully packed will work. High speed that’s a no-no.
I would be suspect of your grease or seals if you’re doubling the bearing life.
I have yet to have a bearing fail on my magnums, I put 500ac/row on before changing blades/bearings and have no idea how many acres where on it before I got it.
