9610 deere with 8.1. As I type it shows leaking from oil filter gasket.

9 liters in the R series tractors leak from the plastic cap on the filter. Always kept some o rings with me and had to swap to new caps on a few of them. Never could get them to seal.

Many years ago we were in the shop servicing tractors. Had a 4640 JD and got the oil and filter changed. Cranked it up and heard a boom and saw oil pouring out of the filter housing. Filter was laying 20’ away. Do you know how hard it is to clean up a few gallons of oil on a slick concrete shop floor? Went through 3 or 4 bags of oil dry. Filter was a genuine Deere filter. Went back with a new Wix and it went until the next oil change. The Deere filter threads weren’t cut deep enough and I guess the pressure made the threads slip off. Weird deal.
