| We had issues with our early 750 that would have the head shut off randomly once I turned the lights on at night.
Once it would shut off the head, the next time it would shut off the entire threshing system.
It turned out to be a bad alternator. The computer was detecting .1 volts MORE once I turned the lights on and it would have those issues with no error codes. A volt meter from the battery sitting on the buddy seat told me what it was doing.
Our tech told me to unhook the "R" terminal on the alternator and tape it off.
We never had trouble after that and never replaced the alternator. | |
