I run 4 round bars in front, 4 large wires in rear,move concave all the way to right, run 2 straight bars over second set of concaves, 2 straight bars over 3rd set of concaves,2 straight bars over 4 th set of concaves,run all spikes over 3rd and 4th concaves. Run rotor around 350, concave setting between 20 -25 depending on cob size.
By putting straight bars over the second set of concaves, you get the corn to the grain pan sooner, increasing your cleaning. Just be aware of your concave setting,When you close the concave the straight bars don’ t hit the concave.
