yes, it was changed when the tractor was new in 1991 as it was the driver's preference
All seems to switch over fine, I have checked the wiring and as mentioned before when cold there doesn't seem to be a problem.....I am leaning towards the coil breaking down when it gets hot but really wanted to know what others felt
