On that note dont assume you know more about my dealer and service than I do. We’ve been doing business with them since the 60s. The name has changed a few times but the brand hasn’t. During that time we’ve gone a decade only buying one or two pieces of machinery and rolled the entire lineup over twice in a decade and everything in between. We’ve gone to other JD dealers when they had a better price. They never shunned us.

Full disclosure my salesman is a born and raised local who also farms and helps his family raise bulls. So he is in my shoes and not some jock pulled off the street whose knowledge of machinery is limited to reading brochures. He can set up any piece of machinery from an air drill to an X9 combine. I can tell you service from him and my dealer have not changed over the last 20 years no matter how much volume they sell. Besides in these kind of times, don’t you think a dealer would concentrate even more on selling parts and service when machinery isn’t moving?
