Central IL | Don’t go all 4 round bars. You want to run a large wire in right front. Yes it will plug with shucks and leaves if you get in there and look at it. But that’s what you want. If you run a round bar in that right front it will let way too much material out and you will overload the right side of the seives. By running a large wire and letting it partially plug, the material will be more spread out over the grain pan then onto the seives.
I personally like large wires in all 4 spots for beans. Most around just leave their round bars in, but I think the large wires give me a cleaner sample for seed beans. | |
