Yeah, it’s all wonderful with the newer ones till they poop the bed. Then it’s not. Had two trans failures in the shop this summer, a 6L80 and an NV4500 . . . NV4500 is by far far away the simpler, cheaper fix.
Sorry but we had more trouble with the older ones when newer than the current generation. Now people are raving on here about how great the older ones are that we had trouble with when running that generation here. I think with all our hills we continually use that the newer technology is saving our equipment versus the mechanical older days. |
