Eastern Nebraska | I agree that you sometimes have to push in slightly to get it to release. You might be able to adjust the strikers to be a little looser but thay may end up causing a rattle in the tailgate. I despise electronic tailgates as I run a body shop and once you remove the bed for say a bedside you have to remember to lower the tailgate before you unhook any wiring. Also makes test fitting a nightmare. The way I do it is to remove the strikers so I can have tailgate on and still open and close for test fittment. | |
