There's a place somewhat local to me in Tilden IL that has been good to work with on automotive electronics. During COVID I couldn't get an ecm so they rebuilt and reflashed mine for a fraction of what Ford wanted for a reman. I later found out they were the ones remanufacturing the ones Ford dealers were selling. Might be worth a call about your customers computer. They did right by me and my neighbor who turns wrenches uses them when the need arises.
