Moreauville LA | Local Deere dealer does and has for a few years. This came about when there was none and the competing dealer put one on the road. But competing dealer is 10% higher
Local dealer says the TAM position (territory aftermarket manager) isn't making any money unless he covers a very large area, to a point where you may as well go get the parts yourself.
They way it is "here", he get no store parts personal help on checking parts in, lookups, or physically putting orders together. This puts him late.
I appreciate the service but their willingness to eliminate a position if it barely breaks even is hypocritical when they're meanwhile knocking 100K off combines to sell.
What is your experience? I'm 30 min, 45min, and 60 min from dealers.
