Fruita CO | It doesn't take much to ruin a brick valve, the clearances are more like a fuel injection part...I used a couple from Abilene that had an oversize spool fitted, they seem to work OK. I guess no news is good news, haven't heard any complaints...
If you honed & sanded on it, it's probably shot. You can tell the condition of the brick by the amount of oil coming through the return line that supplies oil to the hand pump & dumps into the supply line at the clutch valve. If the steering metering pump is puking oil out the steering column, the brick is bypassing too much, the seal in the pump can't hold it back... | |
