Swing your auger out
Swing the tin down.
Remove wiring for sensor and so on.
I have probably done it three times but I’m failing to remember the next part precisely. The overall concept is to support the left side of the rotor with your forks while you get the stop sign shaped cover around it loose. I seem to remember the end of the shaft having a threaded hole where you could insert a small bolt and you could support that bolt head with the forks but I could have that wrong.
Once the stop sign is gone we always just stick the forks of the forklift in under it and backed out. Need a strap to hold the left side of the rotor down to the forklift.
I suspect it might be good to be strategic about which way the rotor is rotated before you remove the stop sign so that it’ll be easier to get the forklift forks in there.
I’ve never heard of the 2” pipe thing. Might be handy but in my experience not actually necessary.
