Have a 12 row Drago GT on a Claas 740 and it folds slower than I would like. Guys from the Case dealer said on the red combines they fold pretty fast but green and Claas are slow. Checked the pressure last year and it was where it is supposed to be. Heard there is an orifice that can be drilled out but haven’t been able to find it. Is there something limiting flow in the combine side?
If it's different speeds on different combines, then I would think the orifice is on the combine that needs drilled out?
Looking through the Drago parts books, I see no serviceable orifices. I would have to call Drago to see if there are any that are "non serviceable" in any of the blocks.
BUT, what I know about combines, is there are typically orifices in the combine valves to control speeds of different functions. Reel fore/aft is what typically folds headers, and each manufacturer would/could have different size orifices to control the speeds based on their plumbing and cylinder sizes on their heads.
