I have a Deere 2038R tractor and Deere 325G skid steer at our vacation home. They might get used 20-25 hours a year apiece. We get to the place 6-8 times per year and when their I run them about 30 minutes each to (hopefully help keep moisture out of the oil.

Thoughts on oil changes? Seems wasteful and expensive to change them if they don't have hours on them. I am thinking of a 2 year interval. Thoughts.

I run Rotella T6 in both and Deere hydraulic fluid

We go by hours and hours only. Even if it's 10 years. Oil samples are always good. But we are in an extremely dry climate.

YMMV.

Thanks. The equipment is in southern Colorado- so very dry- semi desert climate
