Subject: Camera and monitor locations on Case Flagship

Malta, Illinois
After putting it off for a while we are looking at putting a couple of cameras on our 8250. Due to reviews I have read regarding quality of picture on the Pro 700 I am leaning hard towards a Cab Cam or Ag Cam system. We want one somewhere on the front of the grain tank to see when tank is truthfully full and another on the end of the unloading auger to see far side of grain cart when unloading on the go. The location of the grain tank camera should be fairly easy. Somewhere close to the globe and out of the way when the grain tank extensions fold. The one on the unloading auger has me a bit puzzled. With the pivoting spout I don't believe it can be mounted on top of the auger since the spout would block any view down into the cart. I am not sure if mounting it by the light bracket would afford a very good view into cart either. What is everyone else doing for camera locations? We don't feel we need one on the rear of the combine as the mirrors on these machines are so good that you can see really well behind you. Also, where are you mounting monitors for the camera's? To me it needs to be somewhere on the left side since you need to look at it while unloading. About the only place it can go is in the upper left hand corner of the cab. I think they make ram mounts that fasten to those pipes in the upper front of the cab. Running cables will be kind of a pain though. Just curious what others are doing.
