Holly Hill, SC
I would definitely try it. I have not swapped my sprockets on my 606C but have no problem cutting from 6 to 7.5 mph with a Case 6150 with 2 speed gearbox in hi. Also have a JD 694 with the sprockets in high speed position with tapered snap rollers on a Case 5088 with single speed gearbox. No problems up to 7 mph. Virtually no header loss at high speeds versus under 3.5 mph. No gearbox issues in over ten years on both headers.
