NW Iowa | I've bought a demo Husqvarna 450X about 4 years ago. Keeps over an acre of lawn and grove well groomed, but has to run 24-7. I replaced one drive motor and a transformer since I bought it. I replace blades every 2-3 weeks. My biggest problem is with Husqvarna's perimeter wire. Very thin stranded aluminum wire with poor insulation. Worked good for first two years, but then, nothing but problems. I have been replacing it with Robomow's perimeter wire that has a heavier solid copper wire. Need a couple of years to know if that is a better product. | |
