NEND

I think most farmers in eastern North Dakota or Northwest Minnesota have heard of Don Dufner. He’s synonymous with two cylinder John Deere tractors. He’s 90 something now and still buying up old John Deere tractors. I remember his creations at the local tractor pulls when I was a kid over 50 years ago. He’s quite the mechanical genius. We still have a modified flywheel he did for my dad on our old 70. He made the hub split it so you could tighten it onto the crank after the taper got loose. Thought I’d share this video of him pulling with his 830 Special at the Rollag Steam Threshers reunion this past weekend.
