What tractor are you wanting to put this on? With all the splines cut on sleeve I wouldn't think there would be enough steel left to keep it from stripping the sleeve. Last year on a 4450 I just replaced the drive shaft to a small 1000. The adapter was too long. After I did this, I found out a machine shop somewhere can make a large 1000 for a 4450.
