Have ran every head we've ever had in overdrive, but then we only run around 600-640 on the back shaft speed. Shell around 4.5-6mph. 3 heads we've never replaced a gearbox yet. You can't see it but I'm knocking on wood.
Anyone ever overdriven the gearboxes on a 600 series corn header?
