Deere 4230 brakes locking up.

That’s the bleeder valve. Works like the release on a bottle jack. You need to loosen the jamb nut up and tighten it in snug to stop the leak before you retighten the jamb nut.

Edit…..there’s a ball that goes in the hole first before you screw the bleeder in! Find it. Doubt it can get lost inside the housing……..hope not!
R42849 is the ball. I’m sure it’s just a ball bearing.

Also an o-ring there R26286 to stop it seeping out around that valve stem.

Don’t think there’s any normal reason for the brake valve to not let brakes release unless pedal just isnt returning all the way.
