Nw Iowa | At same time, I don’t think you will see the amount of low hr equipment being offered at 60-65% of net for awhile. I still contend the very low hour stuff will dry up at these dealer auctions as dealer just can’t afford to do the deals that have provided the late model equipment that we have seen on auction this year. Also think dealers are running out of some of extra money that was set aside during the last couple big years unless Deere is subsidizing some of used loss which they have never done before. Generally if something bought really right in a down time will have a much lower depreciation number, and if buying common tractors that most can use you will see some appreciation at times. Look what R series bought before last run up sold for in last three years.
Unless really, really good terms, I don’t like leases as it really ties your hands. | |
