| That is the biggest struggle for me.
If I buy on an auction and I don’t like my options 3 to 5 years from now I can just keep running it.
But if I lease and the lease expires and I don’t like the options at the end, tough cookies.
I feel like if I’m really going to be prepared to do equipment for the next 10 years on my terms, I should buy another auction machine while there are good deals.
But I honestly believe the leases I’m seeing now are cheaper than my true cost of ownership is expected to be even on the low hour auction tractors. So the lease is still tempting especially since it’s another color that I’d like to try anyway. | |
