I see no problem with two year interval, id venture to guess some of the oil i put in stuff is already two years old by time i use it, i also have some old stuff that rarely gets used but i keep it running just for fun and some of that hasnt had new oil for twenty years.
Kinda what I was thinking. I buy Rotella when it's on sale and some may sit in the 5 gallon pail for 5 years..
