Nw Iowa | At same time, I don’t think you will see the amount of low hr equipment being offered at 60-65% of net for awhile. I still contend the very low hour stuff will dry up at these dealer auctions as dealer just can’t afford to do the deals that have provided the late model equipment that we have seen on auction this year. I think you are seeing very close to the bottom on JD very low model R tractors. If one bought at 65% of net, No matter what incentives are out there Deere can’t and won’t offer any comparable deals on new that gets anywhere close to the buys we have seen this summer on auctions unless corn goes to 3.50 and stays there for awhile. I am talking the 100-300 hr ones. Auction isn’t for everyone, I understand but there are some real buys right now. I am guessing after fall auctions will strengthen. | |
