Subject: Rochelle rotor in 2388

SW Wisconsin
I have a 2002 2388 that I need to change out the raspbars above the concaves. While taking them out I found out the brackets that hold the raspbars are threaded. From what i've been able to find out CIH didn't come out with those until 2004 so someone has changed out the rotor. Also found out there are 4 straight bars over the concaves and a neighbor told me it was a Rochelle rotor. My question is the ones that use a flange bolt and nut are 1/2" standard bolts and CIH shows the threaded brackets use metric 12mm x 35mm. I took a old bolt to Fastnal and they said it was a 1/2" bolt and CIH dealer said the same thing. Wondering if the Rochelle rotor by chance used standard bolts or did someone put the wrong bolts in it? Tried a new standard and metric bolt in the brackets and they both seem to work, which bolt would you use?
