As Ben d said, the end dumps are a different thing. I don't know of anyone that doesn't dump both tractor and trailer. I have seen things configured differently, so you don't have to get out of the cab (but I have a manual dump valve also). When I engage my pto, my tractor dumps. When I trip the tailgate, the trailer dumps. Works great for me. I sure wouldn't want air on either one especially if you have dirt or lime that could get hung up. I wouldn't think you'd have any problems with something that low to the ground. My dump trailer is somewhere near 30 ft in the air when all the way up.
