| Years ago there was a comparison in a farm magazine of advisory services,,,They all got beat by a guy that simply did not sell for about 12 weeks in the fall but sold 2.5 percent of the crop each week the rest of the year...He lived in the center of several ethanol plants and feed mills and had enough storage for a years crop. His cash price was above most others because he knew who needed grain and what the competition was paying,if someone offered him 4.00 a bushel for corn he would just say he had a 410 offer elsewhere and the buyer would give it.When interest was cheap the last 10 years he made a lot from storing grain | |
