East Central Nebraska | My 2003 1500 acts up quit a bit. Similar to what you are saying. Sometime I get in and it is in 4 low sometimes 4 high and sometimes cant get it to go into 4wd. I changed out the switch on the dash with a cheap one from Rock Auto. It workded good for about 6 months and doing the same thing again. Not as bad, usually I can shut off truck and restart and I can get it to shift. I was going to change out my switch again and get a better one maybe from GM. | |
