| I've put over 9,000' in behind a 65hp Vermeer trencher, most of it was where there was plenty of natural grade so that makes it easier. If the ground is soft at all you want a trench at least 2" wider than the pipe, ground pressure will tend to squeeze the trench closed if the ground is soft, this is also why you want to get the tile in the trench right behind the trencher.
